Unveiling the Splendor of Sri Easwaramangalam Siva Temple
Nestled in the heart of Kerala's Malabar region, the Sri Easwaramangalam Siva Temple stands as a remarkable symbol of devotion and architectural beauty. Located in Naduvath near Wandoor on the Ooty-Guruvayur highway in Malappuram district, this temple holds a special place among the spiritual landmarks of the area.

At the center of the temple, a divine idol of Lord Siva and Parvathi radiates blessings in all directions. Alongside them, other revered figures like Lord Ganapthy, Lord Ayyappa, Goddess Bhagavathy, Naga, and Dampathy Rakshassu add to the temple's sacred atmosphere.

With a history spanning 1500 years, the temple's legacy is truly remarkable. In 1983, Sri Naduvathmana Valia Subramannian Namboothirippad entrusted the temple to a dedicated committee of local devotees. This committee has since overseen various improvements, including the construction of important structures like the Mukhamandapam, Nalambalam, and separate shrines for the Sub-deities. They've also restored a traditional temple pond, built an auditorium, a copper-coated flag post (kodimaram), and an office building.

A significant moment occurred in 1994 when the consecration ceremony was conducted under the guidance of temple thanthri Sri Andaladi Sankaran Namboodiripad. The temple's annual festival, initiated in 1999, is a vibrant celebration lasting five days. Starting on the Pooyyam day of the Malayalam month of Makaram, the festival concludes with a communal feast (samooha sadhya) attended by thousands from different faiths.

Driving the temple's progress is the Easwaramangalm Sivakshethra Samrakshana Samithi, a voluntary organization focused on its development. Led by a dedicated president, secretary, and committee, they oversee important events and daily activities, ensuring the temple's seamless functioning.

In essence, the Sri Easwaramangalam Siva Temple stands as a testament to devotion and community spirit, enriching the cultural tapestry of Kerala's Malabar region.

Easwaramangalm Sivakshethra samrakshana samithi is an independant and voluntary organization which works for the development of temple,organising festivals and enhancing the amenities for the devotees. Administration of Temple is done by the President, Secretary and the selected committee members .This committee administers and organizes all important events and daily activities of the temple

• Temple Custom - ക്ഷേത്ര ആചാരങ്ങൾ

• Only hindus are allowed to enter the temple. ( ക്ഷേത്രപ്രവേശനം ഹിന്ദുക്കൾക്ക്‌ മാത്രം )
• Follow the temple rules and regulations. ( ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ കർത്തവ്യങ്ങളും ചിട്ടകളും പാലിക്കുക. )
• Do not enter the nalambalam by wearing shirt,pants,banyan,pyjama,lungi,chappals etc ( നാലമ്പലത്തിനകത്ത് ഷർട്ട്,പാന്റ്, ബനിയൻ,പൈജാമ,ലുങ്കി, ചെരുപ്പ്, എന്നിവ ധരിച്ച് പ്രവേശിക്കരുത്. )
• Co operate with the temple officials. ( ക്ഷേത്ര ജീവനക്കാരോട് സഹകരിക്കുക. )
• Do not touch the altar stone(balikkallu) by foot. ( ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ ബലിക്കല്ലിൽ പാദസ്പർശം അനുചിതമല്ല. )
• Mobile phone,vedio camera etc are not allowed inside the nalambalam. ( നാലമ്പലത്തിനകത്ത് മൊബൈൽ ഫോൺ, വീഡിയോ, ക്യാമറ എന്നിവ അനുവദനീയമല്ല. )
• Do not spit in the temple premises ( ക്ഷേത്രപരിസരം വൃത്തിഹീനമാക്കുവാൻ പാടുളളതല്ല. )
• Enter the temple with an absolute sense of devotion. ( സമ്പൂർണ്ണ സമർപ്പണത്തോടെ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ പ്രവേശിക്കുക. )
